Laney's has been serving the Williamsburg community since 1980.
We believe in customer service! I know everyone says this but
what most mean is they want to expide the selling process so they can move on to the next
customer. Customer service is defined in terms of speed. Efficiency doesn't
necissarily equate to service.
So what do we mean when we say we believe in customer service?
We believe in educating our clients. There are many factors
that you should consider when purchasing jewelry. We want you to be aware of these
issues. Why? We believe an informed consumer will choose to shop with
us! You see, we purchase each gemstone, each ring individual. Each must meet
our quality standards or we wont buy it. You can be assured that whey you deal with
Laney's you will be purchasing quality products offered at reasonable prices.
Once you understand what effects price and can see the difference
with our own eyes we believe you'll choose beautiful jewelry over low quality jewelry.
If you really want to learn about gemstones and jewelry you are going to have
to visit us.
Sure this website is full of useful information but quite frankly the learning process
really accelerates when you hold a gemstone in your hands and examine it closely.
Turn the gem, watch how it responds to light. How does in look in daylight or
under flourescent lighting? Does the color change in different environments?
Do you see flashes of white light? What about scintillation? The answer to
these hese questions and others will become self evident when you hold the gemstone.
Compare the gemstone with others. You see it doesn't do you any good to
look at just one gem.
How do you select the best whey you are only offered one to consider? When you
choose from a selection of one you arent select from the best in your price range.
You might be saying, "This is good enough" or "I am done looking" but
surely you can't say " I have found the most beautify gem I could find."
To do this you are going to have to compare one stone with another.
